WORKING PRINCIPLE

TDMW1500 3D Radar Scanner  is based on single-point radar terahertz frequency modulation continuous wave technology. Using motors to drive the radar sensor to rotate in multiple dimensions. The rotation position and angle of the radar sensor are preset by the software and the corresponding positions and angles of target can be obtained. The level and volume measurement information is obtained through the cloud server then forms a visual 3D image. The 3D image is displayed on software.

The software system has a complete structure, good compatibility and strong scalability. Koch&Brook provides customized the human-computer interface and management modules according to users’ needs. Through automated scripts it can realize information collection, cutting and segmentation, transformation processing, measurement from 3D point cloud calculation and a series of functions such as database, report and web page display.  It’s also possible to monitor multiple radars in different silos.

Koch&Brook's 3D radar provides radar coverage in three dimensions, unlike the more common 2D radar. 2D radar provides range and azimuth values while 3D radar provides elevation information in addition to range and azimuth. Use applications include drone detection, bird monitoring, defense and surveillance. The latest in the line of 3D radars (counter-drone radars) from Koch&Brook is the revolutionary product Model XX.

It creates a full-dome drone detection area from 0 to 90 degrees vertically and 360 degrees horizontal with a single radar that weighs 5.4Kg. The Model XX radar measures latitude, longitude and altitude of all aerial targets in a 400 meter wide hemispherical dome with the ability to detect and track flying objects from any direction, even directly above the radar.

Rapid threat assessment is simple with the automatic detection and 3D tracking of sUAS (small unmanned aircraft system) combined with fully automated camera cueing on the target. WORKING PRINCIPLE

The Koch & Brook SDMW1100 Multi-Ray Radar uses ultra high frequency electromagnetic wave technology. The sensors send 120GHz~140GHz electromagnetic wave to the material surface. The sensors receives echoes back from multiple points on the surface which are converted to distance measurements. Advanced algorithms in the software assign each measurement an XYZ coordinate that is mapped into a 3D image. The software generates a graphical representation of the material topography in the bin. Surface variations are accounted for in volume calculations.

WORKING PRINCIPLE

The high performance TDLS1300  Laser Scanner is based on the components of a 2D laser scanner and a swiveling platform which is powered by a servo-drive. A high resolution encoder on the servo-drive measures the angle of rotation of the platform and by connection of the 2D laser data with the encoder data, high precision 3D profile measurements are produced. Koch & Brook provides sophisticated software to control and collect data from the laser scanner or for complete measurement solutions.
